Social concepts have been introduced by the industrial and services enterprises in their processes regarding the change from wellbeing to development, always keeping in mind the objective of improving the quality of life of people/communities which thrive around those native forests and plantations subjected to Sustainable Forest Management practices.
The main objective of this program is to transform (we sincerely wish that this can happen) the different actors in to managers of their own development. To obtain this goal, the BPS Program has developed a set of strategies.
Direct employment has been created in more than 1,500 cases and indirectly benefits to more than 6.000 people as a result of the BPS Program both in rural and urban areas thus causing a positive impact in their families and social environment.
